Uniquely virtual, my web-based consulting firm has two distinctive branches of operation, Arête Services for elite athletes and Gnōsis Services for educators in higher education.

At Arête Services we embrace the spirit of ancient Arête through our career transition program for elite athletes. A program designed to enlighten and educate athletes about the opportunities and resources available to them as they consider the transition into their next non-playing career.

What makes Arête Services unique is our creative usage of technology and social media.
By effectively using today’s social technologies, we are able to communicate, administer and interpret career assessments, engage in real-time discussions and explore the various career possibilities all through a virtual format.

Through Gnōsis Services, I work closely with educational institutions to provide professional development training and assist in the planning and design of the next evolution of virtual services for students.

Through the process of consultation, I work with student services professionals in the development of new and innovative practices that use social technologies to enhance outreach, communication and collaboration with students and colleagues.

BOOK - NURTURING DREAMS: A PARENT'S GUIDE TO CAREER DEVELOPMENT FOR CHILDREN

"Nurturing Dreams" guides parents through the basic steps of career exploration so that they can help their children discover their interests along with the resources and activities that can help to encourage a child’s personal development.

This book discusses personality themes useful in helping parents identify main areas of interests. Included are worksheets for parents and children, resources to help children learn more about career options, tips for how to have conversations with your children about their interests plus suggestions for how to help your children actively engage in their interests.
